Turn any image into a real vector

A photo or a screenshot is made of pixels, so it blurs the moment it gets bigger. Tracing it rebuilds the picture as shapes and curves you can recolor, resize and print at any size — image to SVG does exactly that, one file at a time, in seconds.

How it works

Three steps, no account, no software to install.

  1. Drop your file

Drag and drop an image, PDF, EPS or AI file, click the box to browse, or paste straight from your clipboard with Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on a Mac). Files up to 25 MB are fine.

  2. Pick what you want back

The options that fit your file are offered as buttons: a vector for a picture, a regular image format for a vector, a PDF for anything meant to be printed, or a plain conversion between PNG, JPG and WebP.

  3. Download the result

Check the preview and the file details, then download. Nothing is watermarked and the output opens in any browser, editor or print workflow.

Free, no sign-up, no watermark

There is no account to create, no email to confirm, no trial to run out and no badge on the files you download. Every converter here stays free; if it saves you time, a small donation covers the servers, and nothing is locked behind it.

Frequently asked questions

Is the converter really free?

Yes. Every input and every output format is free to use, with no account, no trial, no credit card and no watermark, and the site carries no ads. Donations are entirely optional and unlock nothing extra.

What happens to my files?

Images you turn into SVG are kept for up to 30 days to help us improve the converter; files in the other converters are processed and not stored. Nothing is ever sold or shared, and the privacy policy (/privacy) lists exactly what is kept and how to have it removed.

Which formats can I convert?

In: PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, TIFF, HEIC, SVG, PDF, EPS and AI. Out: SVG, PNG, JPG, WebP, PDF, ICO, EPS and DXF, depending on what you start with.

What is the file size limit?

25 MB per file. That covers phone photos, screenshots, scanned drawings and most print PDFs; if a file is larger, crop or resize it first and convert again.

Can I convert iPhone HEIC photos?

Yes. Drop the HEIC or HEIF file straight from your phone and it becomes a JPG, PNG or SVG. The photo does not have to be exported to JPG first, and the colors stay as they were.

What is the difference between a vector and a pixel image?

A PNG or JPG stores a grid of colored pixels, so a small one turns blurry when enlarged. A vector such as SVG stores shapes and curves instead: it stays sharp at any size, is usually much smaller, and each shape can be recolored or reshaped in an editor.
